Start a match

Challenge your friends to high-speed races. Choose a single race or a series of tracks, overtake your rivals and compete for first place.

All players need the same PSP version of Need for Speed Shift and a compatible, up-to-date version of PSP Core. Install the game in advance and use a stable internet connection.

1. Install the game in advance. If needed, update PSP Core over your existing installation.
2. If you are creating the room: select Need for Speed Shift at multiplayer.androidapplications.store, create a room, open the game and send your friends the invitation.
3. If you are joining: open the invitation, enter the password if required and press “Join and launch game”. If the game does not open, launch it manually and paste the invitation into the internet-play menu.
4. Open Multiplayer to access network races.
5. Match host: Host a game and choose a single track or a series of preset tracks.
6. Other players: Select JOIN, find your friend's game in the list and confirm joining.
