Start a match

Take on cooperative operations: infiltrate enemy bases, cover your teammates and fight military vehicles. CO-OPS supports two to four players, depending on the mission.

All players need the same PSP build and a compatible, up-to-date PSP Core. Complete the opening section beforehand to access MISSION SELECTOR. For CO-OPS, choose a mission allowing at least two players; not every operation supports four. Menu names refer to the English version.

1. Install the game in advance. If needed, update PSP Core over your existing installation.
2. If you are creating the room: select METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER at multiplayer.androidapplications.store, create a room, open the game and send your friends the invitation.
3. If you are joining: open the invitation, enter the password if required and press “Join and launch game”. If the game does not open, launch it manually and paste the invitation into the internet-play menu.
4. Open MISSION SELECTOR. Agree on who will host the cooperative operation inside the game.
5. Match host: Choose an available MAIN OPS or EXTRA OPS mission with a suitable player limit. Select HOST, then a channel such as 01 CH. Tell the other players which channel to use.
6. Other players: In MISSION SELECTOR, open the CO-OPS tab → HOST SEARCH. Select the host’s channel, then choose the available cooperative operation and join.
7. Once everyone has joined, configure your equipment in MISSION PREP. When ready, select START MISSION and wait for the other players to be ready and the operation to load.
